Passports

Although the federal government handles the issuance of passports through the U.S. State Department, the County Clerk’s Passport Office is available and happy to assist constituents. The public may come to our Mays Landing or Atlantic City locations to be photographed and have their applications forwarded to the proper authorities for processing. After paying the applicable fee, passports will be available after they are processed by the State Department. Expedited service is available upon request for an additional fee. The progress of any pending passports can also be found by contacting the U.S. State Department or entering the appropriate information through their website.
